The Masquerade: Trick or Treat

Five masked coins launch together. Every trade fills its coin's own prize pot. At $10K the mask comes off, and from $100K holders win SOL at every milestone. On Halloween night one coin is the treat: its holders take all five pots. The other four are tricked.

How it works

  1. The launch. Five coins launch at the same moment as "Masked #1" to "Masked #5", each with a mask logo. No dev buy: nothing is bought in the launch itself. Each coin has its own public pot wallet that anyone can watch.
  2. Fees. Every buy and sell pays 2.18 %: 1.50 % goes to that coin's pot, 0.24 % to Incognito and 0.44 % to Meteora, whose curve the coins trade on. In each coin's first 10 minutes the fee starts at 30 % and falls in a straight line to 2.18 %, to slow down sniper bots; that early fee fills the pots too.

  3. The mask. When a coin's market cap reaches $10K, its mask comes off: its Halloween logo and name appear, and they are locked forever. A coin still masked on Halloween night is unmasked then.
  4. Milestones. $100K, $250K, $500K, $1M, then every further $1M ($2M, $3M, …). At each one, 31 % of that coin's pot at that moment is paid in SOL to its holders, using the 1–100 draw below. The next milestone pays 31 % of what the pot holds by then.
  5. The 1–100 draw. Every wallet holding the coin gets a number from 1 to 100. Your share of the giveaway is your coins × your number, divided by everyone's coins × their numbers added up, so the whole giveaway is always paid out, and a small holder with a high number can win more per coin than a whale with a low one. Worked example below.
  6. Gas. There is no minimum. Winnings worth less than the cost of sending them wait and add up with your next winnings until they are worth sending. (Solana only lets a wallet that holds no SOL at all receive 0.00089 SOL or more, so winnings for an empty wallet wait until they reach that.)
  7. Halloween night (Oct 31, 8 pm New York). The first Solana block at or after that moment picks the treat at random. The treat's holders share everything left in all five pots, using the same 1–100 draw. The other four coins are tricked and win nothing.
  8. After the contest there are no more payouts.
  9. Fair play. A mask comes off, and a milestone counts, once the market cap has stayed above the line for 5 minutes. Holders are paid on the smaller of their balance at the milestone and 30 minutes later, so buying in for a payout and dumping does not work. Pools and the launchpad's own wallets are never paid.

The 1–100 draw, worked out

A $50,000 giveaway shared by 5,000 wallets that hold 600M of the 1,000M coins (the rest sits in the pool). "Plain share" is what a simple % split would pay. Your number scales it: #50 is about the plain share, #100 about double, #1 about a fiftieth, and the same wallet gets 100× more with #100 than with #1.

In this draw all 5,000 wallets got a share and $49,999.997 of the $50,000 went out (the last fraction of a cent stays in the pot). Over many draws every wallet averages its plain share: the luck moves money around, it never takes any.

The Masquerade is a contest run by Incognito Launchpad on Solana. Prizes come only from the coins' own trading fees, so their size depends on how much the coins trade. Memecoins are highly risky and can lose all their value; nothing here is financial advice.
